HyperPedal

Named the product. Wrote everything on the box, in the instructions, and on the product page. Then stayed on for six months of daily social media posts and newsletter updates for Magic Motorsport, the Italian automotive diagnostics company behind it.

The Name

10 names pitched. HyperPedal chosen.

The brief was a throttle response controller — a small Bluetooth device that clips into a car's accelerator pedal circuit and sharpens response across four drive modes. The name had to work in English across European markets, feel at home in an automotive accessories shop, and be instantly searchable.

HyperPedal.

Compound product names in this category either go too technical (ThrottleMax Pro, AccelControl) or too vague (SpeedBoost, DriveSmart). HyperPedal threads it: "Hyper" carries the performance register the category expects; "Pedal" grounds it in the physical thing you actually touch. It's immediately clear what the product is and what it does to it.

All Copy, From Box to Browser

Product Copy / Page, box & instructions

HyperPedal is an additional control unit that connects the electronic accelerator pedal via original connector and improves car acceleration. Easy installation. Four drive modes. Bluetooth control from your smartphone.

The product copy had to function in two registers simultaneously: clear enough for a Saturday afternoon self-installer, credible enough for the workshop professional. Box copy, in-box instruction sheet, and e-commerce product page — all written to the same voice.

"Via original connector" is the line that does the most work for the professional buyer — it signals plug-and-play compatibility without voiding anything. For the consumer it just means easy. The same phrase earns trust on both sides of the counter.

Four Modes. One Install.

Feature Copy / Core selling points

The four drive modes — from comfort to sport — needed copy that made a technical distinction feel like a lifestyle choice. The Bluetooth app angle was the consumer hook; the "original connector" and "additional control unit" language kept the product credible in a professional context.

Main features as written:

  • Accelerator gas pedal control unit
  • Easy installation
  • Acceleration control on smartphones
  • Four drive modes
  • Bluetooth connection

Daily, for Six Months

Ongoing Content / Social & newsletter

After launch, daily social media posts and newsletter updates for Magic Motorsport across the full product catalogue — not just HyperPedal. Automotive diagnostics, chiptuning tools, key programmers, dyno equipment. A technical audience that knows exactly when you're faking it.

Six months of consistent brand voice across channels: product updates, feature spotlights, promotional copy, and newsletter content written to convert without sounding like a press release.

Daily content for a specialized automotive B2B audience is a different discipline than campaign copywriting. The register has to stay credible across repetition — which means finding angles, not just formats.
